ITV is making waves with its newest high-stakes reality show, and it’s not for the faint of heart. Titled ‘SHARK! Celebrity Infested Waters’, the bold new series will throw a group of celebs into deep, predator-filled oceans as they come face-to-face with sharks of all shapes and sizes.
Leading the daring line-up is comedy icon Sir Lenny Henry, who’ll be joined by McFly bassist Dougie Poynter, Countdown favourite Rachel Riley, and a host of other brave stars ready to test their nerves beneath the surface.
Also confirmed for the shark-infested adventure are Paralympian and presenter Ade Adepitan, Call the Midwife actress Helen George, stand-up star Ross Noble, and comedy actress Lucy Punch.

Together, this eclectic group will take on the ultimate underwater challenge, diving with sharks that grow bigger and more intimidating with each episode, pushing their fears and limits to the extreme.
The series has been specially timed to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the legendary film Jaws, the Oscar-winning classic that first made the world fear what might be lurking below. And just like in Spielberg’s iconic thriller, these celebrities won’t have the safety of a boat for long.
Producers have promised a mix of real danger, genuine emotion, and plenty of humour as the participants, many of whom are self-confessed ocean-phobes, navigate both the mental and physical challenges of getting up close with some of nature’s most misunderstood predators.
ITV hasn’t revealed the exotic locations just yet, but it’s clear that this series is set to be one of the most adrenaline-fuelled and unpredictable formats to hit screens this year.
Whether it’s Sir Lenny cracking jokes in a wetsuit, Rachel Riley calculating the odds of survival, or Dougie Poynter facing his deepest fears, ‘SHARK! Celebrity Infested Waters’ promises drama, depth, and danger in equal measure.
The show is set to air later this year, and with this all-star line-up already making headlines, it’s shaping up to be a must-watch for reality TV fans and thrill-seekers alike.
