Coronation Street actress Kimberly Hart-Simpson has made her new relationship official, and fans are loving the unexpected TV crossover.
The popular soap star, best known for her role as Nikki Wheatley on Corrie, revealed she is now dating Doctor Who actor Nathan McMullen after weeks of speculation. The couple went public via Instagram, sharing a series of cosy snaps from a romantic break in Blackpool.
The announcement comes after Kimberly previously teased that she was happily loved-up, but until now, had kept her mystery man’s identity under wraps.
In a carousel of pictures shared with her 120k followers, the Celebs Go Dating star posted photos of the couple hand-in-hand on the Blackpool seafront, enjoying fish and chips, and cuddling up beneath the famous lights.

Confirming the relationship with a tongue-in-cheek caption, Kimberly wrote:
“When choosing a partner, it helps that they are the same size clothing/footsize cus not only do you get a new bestie…
But a new wardrobe too.”
Nathan McMullen is best known to Doctor Who fans as Wolf the Elf from the 2014 Christmas special starring Peter Capaldi. He also played Finn in the hit sci-fi drama Misfits and appeared in Shameless as Angelo.
Fans of both stars quickly flooded the comments with well wishes and heart emojis, celebrating the sweet pairing and praising their chemistry.
“Gorgeous couple, you both look so happy!” one fan wrote.
“Who knew Corrie and the TARDIS would collide like this?” added another.
Kimberly’s appearance on Celebs Go Dating had previously made headlines, as she opened up about her bisexuality and the challenges of dating in the public eye. But it looks like she’s finally found someone who makes her light up, both on and off-screen.
