COLDPLAY CRUSH THE COMPETITION: Band Named Biggest Touring Act on Earth in 2025

Coldplay have officially been crowned the biggest live music act on the planet in 2025, and it’s not even close.

According to new stats from music analytics giant Pollstar, the British rock legends have taken a jaw-dropping £100,868,947.68 from touring so far this year, putting them miles ahead of other global megastars.

Second place goes to Shakira, who trailed behind with £85 million, a massive 15% less than Coldplay’s figures. Rap icon Kendrick Lamar, who recently celebrated his birthday in style, came third alongside SZA, earning around 30% less than the Paradise hitmakers.

Coldplay’s earnings are more than double that of Beyoncé, who has slipped down the leaderboard this year, pulling in a ‘mere’ £44.04 million from her recent shows.

It’s a staggering achievement for the Chris Martin-fronted band, who have been packing out stadiums across the globe in what’s already being hailed as one of their most iconic tours to date. Their environmentally conscious and visually spectacular shows have clearly struck a chord with fans worldwide.

Among UK and Irish acts, Coldplay are in a league of their own. Sir Paul McCartney, Iron Maiden, and Dua Lipa all made the Top 5, but with much smaller-scale tours. Coldplay's monster-sized stadium shows are clearly a different beast.

But they might not be alone at the top for long. The upcoming Oasis Live 25 tour, already one of the most talked-about reunions in music history, is expected to bring in over £400 million by the end of 2025. That would see Liam and Noel Gallagher earning more than £50 million each.

One thing's for sure: British music is ruling the world stage, and Coldplay are leading the charge.
