CHRISTINA AGUILERA SPARKS RUMOURS OF A FESTIVE COMEBACK

Could Christina Aguilera be planning a Christmas comeback? According to new reports, the multi-award-winning singer has filmed a top-secret festive video in Paris, sparking excitement among fans that she could be returning to the holiday spotlight this December.

Sources told The Sun that Christina quietly flew to France earlier this month to record the mysterious new project at the legendary Crazy Horse cabaret, a venue famous for its glamorous burlesque performances and artistic flair.

It’s believed the video will mark the 25th anniversary of her much-loved seasonal album My Kind of Christmas, first released in 2000, which featured festive favourites like Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas and The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire).

A source close to the production said:

“Christina has worked on a very special project for her fans this Christmas. She went all out for the shoot, it’s pretty risqué to say the least! Christina and her team transformed Crazy Horse into a winter wonderland, with snow, Christmas trees, lights, and plenty of sparkle.”

They added that the singer was in full performance mode during filming:

“The choreography was burlesque-inspired, with dancers wearing candy cane corsets and elaborate festive costumes. Christina was on fire, she’s never looked or sounded better.”

Insiders also revealed that Christina took a hands-on role in the creative process, helping to shape the visuals and styling for the production, which is expected to combine her signature glamour with a playful, retro twist.

While details of where and when the special will air are still under wraps, speculation is mounting that it could premiere on a major streaming platform or as part of a televised Christmas event in December.

Fans have already flooded social media with theories and excitement, with one user posting on X (formerly Twitter): “If Christina’s doing a Christmas comeback, that’s the best gift of the year! We’ve missed her festive vocals.”

Another wrote: “It’s been 25 years since My Kind of Christmas and it’s still one of the best holiday albums ever. Can’t wait to see what she’s cooked up.”

The original album remains a cult favourite among pop fans, with Christina’s powerhouse vocals and big-band arrangements cementing it as one of the defining pop Christmas records of the early 2000s.

Over the years, Aguilera has continued to reinvent herself, from her Stripped and Back to Basics eras to her Las Vegas residency and her return to the studio in recent years.

If the rumours are true, this festive project would mark a full-circle moment in her career, celebrating both her past and her enduring influence as one of pop’s most iconic vocalists.

As for the finished product, fans will have to wait just a little longer to unwrap what Christina has been working on, but one thing’s for certain: it sounds like Christmas 2025 might just belong to her.
