The BBC has announced the line-up for this year’s Celebrity Apprentice Christmas Special, and it’s packed with familiar faces from Strictly Come Dancing, EastEnders, Gladiators, and JLS.
Returning for the first time since its 2019 Comic Relief edition, the hit spin-off of The Apprentice will see some of the UK’s best-loved celebrities take on Lord Alan Sugar’s business challenges, this time with a holiday twist, all in support of Children in Need.
The festive two-part special will transport the stars to Lapland, where they’ll be tasked with creating and selling their own gingerbread biscuits, combining creativity, strategy, and a little Christmas chaos in the name of charity.
As ever, Baroness Karren Brady and Tim Campbell will be on hand to keep a close eye on proceedings, and report back to Lord Sugar in the all-important boardroom.
This year’s celebrity teams are already raising eyebrows, and expectations.

The competition will see both teams work tirelessly in a wintry setting to craft and market their own gingerbread creations, all while navigating the pressures of Lord Sugar’s famously sharp tongue and fast-paced challenges.
The winning team will raise the most money for Children in Need, while the losing side will face the dreaded boardroom, and one unlucky celebrity will hear those iconic words: “You’re fired.”
Fans of The Apprentice are thrilled to see the celebrity format return after a six-year break. The 2019 Comic Relief edition saw the likes of Ayda Field, Kelly Hoppen, and Sam Allardyce battle it out for a good cause, and this year’s festive twist promises even more laughter, chaos, and Christmas spirit.
Viewers can expect plenty of laughs, some questionable sales pitches, and a few heartwarming moments as the celebrities swap showbiz glamour for snowy business boots.
A BBC spokesperson said:
“This year’s Celebrity Apprentice Christmas Special promises to be a festive treat full of surprises, teamwork, and mischief, all for a wonderful cause. It’s The Apprentice as you’ve never seen it before: covered in icing sugar!”
The Celebrity Apprentice Christmas Special will air on BBC One and iPlayer this December as part of the BBC’s Christmas schedule.
