Bloc Party, the iconic British indie band, have been announced as the recipients of the prestigious Outstanding Song Collection award at the Ivors 2025. The original lineup of the band, Kele Okereke, Russell Lissack, Gordon Moakes, and Matt Tong, will be recognized at the 70th edition of the awards ceremony, which will take place at Grosvenor House in London on Thursday, May 22.

The announcement of the Ivor Award comes as Bloc Party’s current lineup is on tour, celebrating the 20th anniversary of 'Silent Alarm.' They recently played the album in full at London’s Crystal Palace Park, marking their largest headline show to date. Upcoming concerts will take the band across the UK with performances in Leeds, Manchester, Bristol, Brighton, and Torquay, as well as a North American tour.
