Bruno Tonioli is said to have officially quit Britain’s Got Talent after just two seasons on the ITV talent show, paving the way for YouTuber-turned-pop-star KSI to potentially take his place on the judging panel.
According to reports from The Sun, the flamboyant Italian choreographer and TV personality, who previously dazzled viewers on Strictly Come Dancing, has been unable to resolve scheduling conflicts between his role on Dancing With The Stars in the US and the demanding BGT filming timetable in the UK.
A source told the publication:
“Bruno has officially quit Britain’s Got Talent and they are hoping that KSI will replace him.
He absolutely loved being on the panel with Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, and Amanda Holden, but Bruno just can’t juggle his schedule with filming.”
The surprise frontrunner to replace Tonioli is KSI , real name Olajide Olatunji , a YouTuber-turned-rapper-turned-boxer who has become a multi-hyphenate powerhouse in the UK entertainment world.
Though KSI might not be the traditional choice for a BGT judge, insiders suggest Simon Cowell is keen to inject the long-running format with a fresh, younger appeal. His huge online following and crossover success in music and sport could attract a new generation of viewers.
While ITV and Cowell’s team have yet to confirm the move, fans are already debating online whether the "Down Like That" hitmaker has what it takes to join the iconic talent show.

Tonioli joined Britain’s Got Talent in 2023, stepping in after David Walliams exited the show following a controversy around off-camera remarks. Known for his expressive reactions and infectious energy, Bruno brought a unique sparkle to the judging panel alongside Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, and Amanda Holden.
Despite positive fan feedback and strong on-screen chemistry, his commitment to Dancing With The Stars in the US, now in its 33rd season, reportedly made it “impossible to continue” both roles.
ITV has yet to make an official statement regarding Bruno’s exit or the potential addition of KSI. With auditions expected to begin filming later this year, a decision is likely to come soon.
