AMANDA HOLDEN AND ALAN CARR’S ANDALUCÍAN VILLA NOW OPEN

AMANDA HOLDEN AND ALAN CARR’S ANDALUCÍAN VILLA NOW OPEN

Amanda Holden and Alan Carr are inviting fans and travellers alike to experience southern Spain in style. The pair, who starred in BBC One’s hit show Amanda & Alan’s Spanish Job, have officially opened their lovingly renovated Andalucían townhouse for bookings.

The three-bedroom villa, now called Casa Alamanda Moclín, sits in the heart of the charming village of Moclín, Granada. Viewers of the popular series will recognise the property as the 100-year-old crumbling house the duo purchased for €65,000 (£55,000) and lovingly transformed over the course of filming.

“It’s been such a joy to see this house come to life,” Amanda told fans. “From its very first days, it had so much character, and Alan and I wanted to make sure that everyone who visits gets a real taste of Andalucían life, with a modern, comfortable twist.”

From Ruin to Retreat

The villa’s transformation has been a highlight of the second series of Amanda & Alan’s Spanish Job, showcasing the duo’s flair for renovation and interior design. The project involved restoring traditional features like exposed beams, terracotta floors, and shuttered windows, while adding contemporary comforts including a fully equipped kitchen, chic bathrooms, and open-plan living spaces.

Alan Carr shared his excitement about the project:

“It’s one thing to watch a show about renovating homes, but it’s another to have a place that you can genuinely stay in and enjoy. Casa Alamanda Moclín is exactly that, a mix of charm, style, and a little bit of Amanda and Alan magic!”

An Authentic Andalucían Experience

Moclín, a picturesque village perched on a hillside in Granada, provides the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. Guests can enjoy cobbled streets, quaint cafés, and stunning views of the surrounding countryside, all while staying in a home that combines traditional Spanish architecture with the personalities of two beloved UK TV stars.

The villa boasts three bedrooms, a spacious lounge and dining area, and a terrace perfect for sipping sangria while taking in the Andalusian sun. The renovation also highlights Amanda and Alan’s signature style, playful touches, bright colours, and cozy spaces designed for both family and friends.
