ALEX SCOTT RUSHED TO MEDICS AFTER TERRIFYING TICK INCIDENT ON I’M A CELEB

Alex Scott has opened up about a frightening behind-the-scenes moment from I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! that never made it to air. The former England footballer revealed she was rushed to the medical tent after discovering that a tick had burrowed under her skin, leaving her shocked, panicked, and in urgent need of treatment.

Speaking for the first time about the ordeal, Alex explained that the incident happened shortly after completing the demanding task of carrying logs around camp. Sitting beside fellow contestant Martin, she felt something unusual on her shoulder. What she initially assumed was a spot quickly turned into a far more alarming discovery.

“I was sitting next to Martin after carrying the logs and I felt my shoulder, and I was like, ‘Oh, that’s a big spot that’s come up,’” she recalled. “I asked him to have a look, then Kelly Brook jumps up and says, ‘It’s a tick.’”

According to Alex, panic immediately set in as Kelly urged her to get to the medics straight away. The reality of the situation hit hard, despite her awareness of jungle dangers. “I was panicking as she was shouting that I needed to get to medical. I knew about ticks and leeches, but I always thought it wouldn’t happen to me.”

The medical team were able to remove the tick safely, but Alex admitted the ordeal left her shaken. She also revealed that no other contestant has experienced a similar run-in with the parasites so far this series.

This year’s I’m A Celeb has been packed with big personalities, major trials, and emotional exits. Alex became the first celebrity voted off, leaving fans disappointed but supportive as she departed the jungle earlier this week. Many praised her warmth, humour, and competitive spirit.
