ABBA fans, get ready for the ultimate encore. The sensational ABBA Voyage experience has just unveiled a glittering new chapter, complete with four fresh songs added to the already hit-packed setlist.
After three triumphant years of wowing crowds in London, the groundbreaking virtual concert took a brief break in May as the purpose-built ABBA Arena temporarily closed its doors. But don’t worry, it wasn’t goodbye, just a well-deserved intermission. Behind the scenes, a dazzling transformation was underway to enhance and evolve the live experience of the Swedish supergroup's legendary music.
Now, as the arena prepares to reopen, anticipation is sky-high. ABBA Voyage 2.0 promises to be even more immersive and emotionally charged, thanks to an upgraded production and the addition of four previously unseen performances by the band’s digital avatars, or ‘ABBAtars’, who have captivated millions since the show’s debut in 2022.
The show still celebrates all the timeless classics fans know and love, from the Eurovision-winning "Waterloo" to karaoke favourite "Mamma Mia", but the inclusion of new material gives the experience a refreshing twist, enticing loyal fans to return and inviting new audiences to witness the magic for the first time.
In a rare and heartfelt statement, ABBA themselves shared their gratitude and excitement:
“When we first opened, we never imagined that we’d still be in London three years on. We’re very grateful that so many of you have joined us. Of course, the reason for us being able to sustain our concert for so long is because of our incredible audience. As we say in Sweden… Vilken resa!”

That phrase, "Vilken resa!", translates to "What a journey" and it perfectly sums up the emotional rollercoaster that ABBA Voyage has become. Part nostalgic trip, part futuristic spectacle, the show is a technological marvel that blends motion capture, state-of-the-art lighting, and a live band to bring the world’s most iconic pop group back to life on stage, without them physically being there.
The revamped show is expected to open its doors again this summer, with tickets already in hot demand. And with the promise of new songs, enhanced visuals, and the same heart-pounding ABBA energy, it's clear that this voyage is far from over.
