Leaders start to pull away - 03.09.2010 |

THERE is a gap developing at the top of Division One of the Oasis Fm Pool League, with three sides still undefeated after another round of matches.
Summerlands Superstars lead the way by the smallest possible margin after a 7-3 derby win over Allstars, despite losing both of the double rubbers. Palms A drop to second after being made to work hard by Men Of Atlantis. The Adeje mob were 4-3 up until Bungalow, Roscoe and Leeds Graham salvaged the spoils. Champions Tenerife Hammers A were good value for their 8-2 win at Legends, who have now lost all five of their matches. Bar 180 B notched win No4 against Plate holders Terrace Bar A, while Rat Pack lost their first match at Trap Door. Target Bar did for Atlantis Sharks, and Nauta A stunned 8 Ball Massive 6-4, while Hoops got back on track at home to La Cana. Dreamers Bar upset the form book as they recorded their first-ever top-flight win. The 7-3 victory over Bar 180 A sets them up nicely for Tuesday’s trip to Terrace Bar A. The Legends B bandwagon rolls on in Division Two, and they stayed perfect for the season against Toscales Tangos. They lead by two points after Target Rangers were held to a draw by Barracuda Bandits. Gaffers are up to third following a fine win at Terrace Bar B. Summerland Elite and Lupain drew the Los Cristianos derby, Hammres B saw off Bar Tasca, while Nauta B edged past Phoenix Potters. Inn The Pink made it back-to-back wins at Woodys, and Tenerife Hammers C are finally up and running. They won 8-2 against Connors. Finally, congrats to Tal from Rat Pack, Mark from 180 B and Nauta B’s Derek on seven-ball victories this week. |
