Los Cristianos Fiesta - 03.09.2010

The Fiesta in Los Cristianos, in honour of La Virgen del Carmen, runs from now until September 6th. Events include:-

Friday 3rd
•       18:00.  Parade through the center of town with the Municipal Band of Arona
•       18:30.  Musical Concert with the Municipal Band of Arona
•       21:30.  At the fairground - Gran Gala de la Reina Juvenil choice of Los Cristianos Fiestas del Carmen 2010. Plus artistes and comedians plus local orchestra
 Saturday 4th
•       11:30.  Activities all day in the port area
•       12:00.  In the bay of Los Cristianos -Aquathlon 1 Virgen Del Carmen 2010 sponsored by the Foundation for Sports of Arona
•       13:30.  Youth Games etc.
•       14:30.  Great paella for contributors and participants
•       17:00.  Aqua Soccer Tournament between single and marrieds
•       From 18:30. Area Youth DJ Festival.
•       21:00.  At the fairground - 1 º Encuentro Los Cristianos Poker Tour.
•       23:30.  Gran Baile with Orchestra Fortaleza.
 Sunday 5th
•       12:00.  Casa del Mar - Classic Car Exhibition.
•       From 13:00 to 18:30 hours.  Beach, Los Cristianos.  Giant soccer championship, Aqua-Soccer for the youngsters and children's activities bouncy castle, giant slide, Globoflexia, painting workshops, pottery workshops, SpongeBob Puppets, Children's Musical, etc ... and endless fun for smaller with the collaboration of Rinonzón.
•       19:30.  Parroquia Nuestra Señora Virgen del Carmen.  Land and sea procession through the different streets of Los Cristianos, starting from the Parroquia Nuestra Señora Virgen del Carmen with Maria song of the bird until it reaches the dock and subsequent embarkation for cruise ships.  At the end of the procession, fireworks display by the Toste Brothers Pyrotechnics.
•       From 22:00 to 2:00 pm.  In the fairground -  Gran Baile with Orchestra Wamampy.
