 WEE Billy Banes took advantage of the perfect weather to score a notable double in the Fun Golf competition at Los Palos last Sunday.
With 30 golfers competing, Billy and Derek S Reynolds took first place overall, and Billy teamed up with Dennis Booth for second spot as well. John Bedworth and Kevin Thomas were third. Ladies Nearest the Pin ‒ Sorry ladies, maybe next month! Kevin Thomas was nearest for the gents, while the Booby prize went to Keith Bryer and Ian Patterson. |
