Lions’ fairground attraction - 09.07.2010

THERE was an air of excitement at Tenerife South Airport last Saturday as a party of 31 youngsters (some with special needs) plus their carers and representatives from Tenerife Sur Lions, checked in for a week’s holiday in the UK.

The trip, organised and funded by the Lions, is at Pontins Prestatyn Sands Holiday Park, which boasts up to 70 free activities, including a wide range of sporting facilities, fairgrounds, junior talent shows, discos, and competitions.

 

During the week, additional planned excursions have also been arranged by Prestatyn and Rhyl Lions, including steam railway and canal trips, ice-skating and ten-pin bowling.
