 ENGLISH brothers Luke and Jacob Oldfield met with contrasting fortunes when their respective Spanish Las Zocas football teams took part in cup finals against El Medano rivals last Saturday.
Luke, 11, who stars in the Alevin League, went home with a winners’ medal when his side won a penalty shoot-out after drawing 3-3 at the El Medano arena.
But his promising, eight-year-old brother was not so fortunate. Luke’s Pre-Benjamin League side lost 2-1 at the same venue, and he had to settle for a runners-up medal. |
