BERNARD WELSH made 13th September a lucky day all round for himself at Los Palos by winning the Fun Golfers’ Three-Club Challenge and The Harry Davis Memorial Trophy.
John Metcalf finished second behind Bernard, with Duncan Wallace third.
John Bedworth won the gents’ nearest the pin competition, while there was no ladies’ winner. Sorry girls – better luck next month.
The players observed two minutes of silence for Norman Lindskey who, sadly, passed away a few weeks ago.
