New-look singles has a few shocks in store - 17.07.2009
THE Oasis Fm Darts League had a rest from league action last week, while seven venues hosted the new-look singles competition.

As usual, the standard was high – with a few shock results. The finals night at the end of the season is already circled in the diary, with six worthy winners in the final stages of the men’s tournament.
Division One leaders Exiles are double-handed after Calum and Delboy won at Whippys and Mallyboos respectively.
KillBill progressed from Mr Booze, while Mitch was the main man at Toscales. Big Al triumphed at Bar 180 and Daniel struck a blow for the younger tungsten-throwers with victory at the Trap Door.
The Ladies’ event was another popular evening, and this year’s final will see Betty and Nid locking horns.
Tonight, it’s back to the bread and butter of league action but, unfortunately, we have lost a team.
Veronicas have had to resign from Division Two, and their records have been expunged. The new table is on this page.
