On the last day of the summer term the children at Brittania School Los Cristianos were raising money to give to the Tenerife Sur Lions to support the Christmas Party for approximately 100 Spanish children from various orphanages who are entertained each year here in the South to a full day out with the transport, meals, entertainment and Christmas presents provided by the Lions Club.
Edna Goodall and Sylvia Wilkinson from the Branch club of Tenerife Sur Lions organised a book sale on the day of the fund raising and Edna was this week presented with a cheque for 800 euros by one of the pupils Alex Poole as a donation from the school.
