Fun Golf Results - August 1st Billy Baines - Cliff Midgley 2nd Mick Croft - Paul Breeds 3rd. Javier Sabaris - Al Pond. Ladies Nearest the Pin Jenny Meesham Mens Nearest the Pin Lewis Bates. Booby Prize - Frank Moss - and of course Alistair Starrs. Fun Golf - September On a very warm Sunday morning golfers arrived at Los Palos for the Lions Charitiy Golf 3 club challenge. Keith Simpson amassing 39 points won easily from Lee Nolan, (who mentioned to organisers he thought his handicap was wrong and it should be 20 not 18), well Lee it will be 18 next time. Javier Sabaris for the 2nd month came 3rd. On a sad note this was Anne Pickersgill last game, she is moving to Spain to be near her family, so it was fitting she received ladies nearest the pin. All wished her the best and hope to see her sometime in the future.
