First Choice held a charity night last week at the BierKeller, Karting Las Americas. Over 2,700 euros has been raised to date with all proceeds being shared between the NSPCC and K9.
First Choice Holidays PLC's partnership with the NSPCC has raised £96,000 in three years. First Choice said, “We wanted to choose a family focused charity to reflect our customer base and the credible reputation and profile of the NSPCC is reassuring to customers. Working internationally as a large tour operator, we also support communities in other parts of the world and find that supporting life changing causes both at home and abroad works well. The First Choice charity days are fun and enable us to involve local suppliers, residents and our customers. First choice Holidays PLC is proud to be supporting the NSPCC. Colleagues, clients and suppliers all believe that the NSPCC does invaluable work supporting vulnerable children, young people and their families.”
First Choice are also helping K9 at a local level, Kate Hatch, Area Manager Tenerife & Gran Canaria, “K9 was my personal choice as they are very passionate and driven people who are totally dedicated to their cause. Ian and Sarrie are amazing people who obviously love the animals that they take in and its why I wanted to help them, because they are genuine. We got our dog ‘Brenda’ from K9, she is a little sweetheart but had she not been cared for so well in the home, she could have come with all kinds of problems.”
The successful event included Bierkeller showtime extravanganza with meal and drinks. A massive raffle was held at the venue, prizes included a free holiday, Ricky Hatton tickets for his next fight in Las Vegas on 3
rd November as well as excursion trip vouchers for Freebird and Submarine safaris plus many other fab prizes. A fun time was had by all with bouncy castle and face painting etc.
