 Soul@Jazzissimo is the new name of Tenerife’s most urbane live music venue. To celebrate their complete revamp, the prices of drinks have been slashed for the summer, tempting revellers through the doors to experience the all new club.
“I wanted to create a completely unique venue to showcase Tenerife’s best singers”, said Denise McCullagh, the brains behind Jazzissimo. The suave and sophisticated interior is the realisation of her vision. Designer furniture sits elegantly amidst a silvered backdrop, shimmering walls graced with beautiful images of sexy lips. Galleries overlook trendy tables, the dance floor and to the main attraction: the music! The changes at the new Soul@Jazzissimo are not just skin deep. There’s an even longer line up of Tenerife’s best singers to enthral and delight you. The club’s favourites are back; Phil Gibson, Motown Gold, Scottie D, Jawara, Topazz… joined by new surprises bringing Latino beats, pop, funk and a great new mix of musical styles. And if you think that your favourites sound better after the break, you’re right! The new sound systems fill the dance floor with music, while still allowing you to have a conversation at the tables and bar. You might even find those singers look a bit better too… the club has even had a new lighting system installed!
If bars and pubs seem slightly run of the mill and you hanker to dress up and look your best, Soul@Jazzissimo is just perfect. Meet, dance and sip cocktails while bathed in the funkiest sounds the island has to offer. The club is open Friday to Monday from 10pm until 3.30am. If you’re only in Tenerife for a holiday, then take a tip from an insider: make sure you go to Soul@Jazzissimo early on in your stay, because you are bound to want to go back again and again.
