MONDAY EVENING RESIDENTS LEAGUE 28.5.07

The Monday night Residents League continues to look like shaping up to be a very exciting League. This week saw a top of the League clash Between R Cathcart and T Quinan. Much to everyones surprise, not only did R Cathcart beat T Quinan but gave them a good old fashioned thrashing.

North & South continue to lead the way in this league following a top of the league encounter between them and  Guarapo. Shaun, of Pink Parrot fame, got back to somewhere near his usual best to help keep his team at the top of the pile. Next week sees another top of the league encounter between Oranges and Lemons and North and South. Oranges and Lemons seem to have some sort of hoodoo over North and South so it should be an interesting game.

Friday night brought the game of the week  The Two J.J.’s V Thistle & rose. The game went each way all through the game. By the 13^th end the two J.J.’s had managed to pull ahead at 13 – 9. With 3 ends to go Thistle and Rose hade a lot of work to do to pull back. Pull back they did, managing to get a draw in the last end.
