€2284.42 CHECK OUT! - 22.12.2006
Last Friday an eclectic mix of fancy dress characters took part in the Oasis Fm Darts league charity night held in aid of a local Breast Cancer Charity.

The dart players and supporters had a great night and really got into the spirit of the event. The mini bus drivers donated half their taxi fairs to the charity so a big thanks to Charlie & Martin. Also, a special thanks to a guy named Chris who drinks in the Beer Engine who donated 100 euros, not wanting any recognition but is getting it anyway!  Other sponsors included Coldflow Canarias S L, Tenerife’s beer suppliers, Brendan & Annette from the Devon Arms, Blueberry Bobs Hair Salon & Pizza Taxi for feeding the teams!  The results from the actual matches seem to be a little blurred so we are just reporting on the fun & frivolities and the massive amount of money raised.

The proceeds of the event were raised through sponsorship, raffles, including fines imposed on players who scored less than 20 points with 3 darts.  All in all it was a great success and we are looking forward to doing this again next year. Harry Booze, Chairman would like to thank everyone who both took part and looked the part!
