Well this was the last league fixture for this year, to pave way for the Christmas festivities. This coming week, we embark on fun & frivolities all in the name of charity. Eight venues will take part in the fancy dress night, including 16 of the teams from both divisions. This will involve each team member dressing up in the given theme, which is different for each venue, giving some people the opportunity to wear what is usually saved for private & behind closed doors! For example the burley, unshaven characters from Veronicas will be able to put on their bridle gowns & does Bar El Sol dressing as vicars mean they will behave as vicars or will the tarts of Paddy B Taffy’s prove too much temptation! Division 1
Friends faced the wrath of Exiles who are currently sitting pretty at the top of Division 1. Exiles chewed them up & spat them out 8-0 in just over an hour. Paddy A Taffys were kicking themselves after dropping the point to Veronicas Viking in the final treble’s game of the night, which could prove costly in the title race. La Gramola climbed out of the relegation zone by gaining a valuable 7 points from visitors Downers, who were lacking two keys players from the previous week! Mr Booze got back in winning ways after a victorious win of 6-2 over Amigos.

Division 2
The Target Pub could have secured the top spot with a 8-0 victory over Bar Selecta but only managed 5-3, which means they have to wait another week before being crowned as champions. The Beer Engine had a fantastic away victory over their promotion rivals X-Men, which resulted in the Beer Engine moving into 2nd place. Another one of those marathon matches took place at the Red Rock Bar, who showed better stamina by beating Mrs Booze 5-3. Unfortunately two games had to be postponed this week due to unforeseen circumstances, these will be rescheduled shortly.
