Only Whippys A were decisive winners. They made up a bit of ground on the top three sides with a comfortable 7-1 victory over The Knights. Exiles got their victory but will be disappointed to have only beaten Nauta A 5-3. Ian’s promoted posse are a respectable seventh in their debut top flight season. Bar 180 couldn’t capitalize as they beat Tenerife Sons by the same scoreline. Third place Bar El Sol drew with fifth place Mally Boo while Target A got an eyecatching 6-2 win at home to Amigos. Phoenix Bar are now tenth after edging past Yelas bar, Toscales Allsorts snuck a 5-3 at The Beer Engine while Mr Booze and X-Men drew the Silencio derby. It was just as tight in Division Two. Leaders Target Headbangers dropped two points as they beat Our Place Flukers while The Terrace Bar did the same against struggling The Warriors. The Tavern moved second after edging past The Barracudas and the are level on points with Sundowners who drew with Paddy O’Taffys. Naughty Nautas just got the better of Our Place Playgirls 5-3 whilst Whippys B and Trap Door did likewise against Veronicas and Toscales Ensecan respectively. The singles draw has been made live on Oasis Fm to decide which venues and how many players will be at each........... Ladies competition will be held at Amigos Bar and will have 24 entries. The evening will be played on 2 boards. The final of the night will be played on Finals night. Mens competition will be held at 6 venues and has 76 entries.
