Wednesday 15th February 2006, was not only the 26th BRIT Awards....but a land mark in Oasis Fm's history, as we had the exclusive rights for the Canary Islands, to broadcast this, the biggest and most respected music awards in Europe. There were performances and appearances from some of the biggest names in the music industry....

Joe Petherwick presented Awards on Oasis Fm, which was hosted by Chris Evans live from Earls Court in London, with live performances from Coldplay, Kaiser Chiefs, KT Tunstall, James Blunt, Kanye West, Kelly Clarkson, Paul Weller and.....Prince!!
