What was the first ever CD/record you bought?
Well I wouldn't remember that at all! But I'm sure it was Hindi (Indian) music, I've always had that craze.
What were your school reports like?
Good, I was a good student, a bit lazy to study sometimes, I needed that extra push.
If you could do any job in the world what would it be and why?
Well, music is my life and hobby. I DJ at parties, but would like to work on the same on a bigger scale.
Do you have any hidden talents?
I enjoy cooking, I'm a beautician (esteticien), and DJ, that's about it I guess.
What's the ring tone on your mobile?
”WADA RAHA” It's a tune from a Hindi song, I want to change it, but haven't actually had the time to find another one, if anyone can send me one, please do, thanks.
Who do you most admire?
Hmmmmm…Tall guys perhaps hehehe!….. Well I admire Hrithik Roshan (Bollywood Indian Actor)… and apart from him, my Dad, for bringing us up (me, my brother and sister) the way he did. Strict but worth it, we really learnt a lot from him.
What would you never leave the house without?
My keys of course haha! Well apart from that my mobile, I may not take my purse, or any money with me, but its very rare when I leave my mobile behind. I just can't remember how we used to manage without mobiles.
Most embarrassing moment ever?
The first time I was on stage with a microphone with a crowd of people in front of me. It was the first day of the Radio Course I did, and the teacher had to keep telling me “Please get closer to the microphone, its not going to eat you”!!
When can we expect to hear from you on your new show?
I start off my show “Bollywood Music” on Tuesday 5th of April 2005, from 8pm. It's a weekly show, that will be based on Hindi and Punjabi music, presented in English.
I will try my best to make it as lively as possible and hope you all enjoy it.
