Soccer Fm with Adi Benson

Welcome to Soccer Fm, the home of football on Oasis Fm....

Soccer Fm is the home of football on Oasis Fm covering all professional leagues in England and Scotland, the FA Cup, Champions League and exclusive LIVE commentary of CD Tenerife home games.
Every Saturday from 3-6pm Adi Benson gives out all the goals and scorers as they happen, but we do focus on the premiership and internationals with our own commentary.
Through the week there are daily updates of any games, and on Sundays coverage of CD Tenerife live from the Heliodoro Stadium......if its football - we're there!!!!!

Our live CD Tenerife coverage is presented by Roscoe and Adi Benson.

Roscoe - Wolves
Why do you support Wolves?
I'm a 3rd generation wolf!
What was the first football match you saw?
Weymouth 1 Tottenham 5. It was a friendly match and part of the deal that saw Graham Roberts joing Spurs. I was 6.
Who was your boyhood hero?
Kenny Dalglish. What a player.
What's the most memorable game you have seen?
There have been so many but recently the CD Tenerife match when they needed to avoid defeat against Castellon to clinched the 2nd Division title in Cristo's last match. They let in a 93rd minute goal, finished third and nobody really cared!
Who do you think is the greatest Footballer ever?
Maradonna. But Messi may take that mantle in the next few years.
Who would you like to see as England Manager?
Arsene Wenger. He would change the whole FA from the root to the tooth.
If you were England Manager, what would you change?
The old guard. Not Terry, Lampard or Gerrard
Do think technology available should be implemented into football?
Of course.
How?
Goal line cameras should be used as should a TV monitor for 4th officials. It would take a matter of seconds to right a wrong.
If you could change one thing in football, what would it be?
FIFA. Unelected wannabee corrupt politicians are killing the game. I would set up a new world governing body. The whole system needs to change. I would also implement a European Super League.

Adi - Liverpool
Why do you support Liverpool?
I have supported Liverpool for 33 years, starting in 1978 when a friend of my dad's gave me a large box of football programmes, most of them being Liverpool one's from the 60's & 70's, plus in those days my two local teams, Grimsby Town & Lincoln City were not tearing up any trees!
What was the first football match you saw?
The 1978 FA cup final, between Ipswich and Arsenal. Which Ipswich as underdogs won 1-0!
Who was your boyhood hero?
Kenny Dalglish, still my hero to this day.
What's the most memorable game you have seen?
The 2005 Champions League final when Liverpool came back from 3 goals down against AC Milan, slightly biased I know!
Who do you think is the greatest Footballer ever?
The one player I would pay to watch play again and again would be Bobby Moore, defenders are often underrated, but he had everything in his locker!
Who would you like to see as England Manager?
I would love to see Harry Redknapp as England manager, he is a great man manager and would get the best out of the players, off field distractions aside!
If you were England Manager, what would you change?
I would give youth more of a chance, they are only going to get the experience they require to win tournaments by playing at that level!
Do think technology available should be implemented into football?
Yes.
How?

The only one I agree with is goal line technology, I think anything else would see to much stopping and starting.
If you could change one thing in football, what would it be?
Players wages. Footballers today are out of touch with the fans who pay their wages, because of the high salaries.
