The Oasis Fm Open Golf Tournament 2010 The Oasis Fm Open Golf Tournament 2010 took place on Saturday 24th July at Amarilla Golf, sponsored by Marina Estates. (Visit Marina Estates website here>>) The format was Texas Scramble with 18 teams of 4 taking part, teeing off at midday with a shotgun start! This meant that all the teams start at the same time on a different hole on the course, and the draw will took place live on Oasis Fm to see which team started at which hole. Trophies were awarded to the following teams: 1st Place: Marina Estates 2nd Place: Nigerian Traffic Cops Longest Drive: Johnny Grenan (hole 7 sponsored by Terrace Bar) Nearest the Pin: Matt Ashley (hole 2 sponsored by Arona Foods) Nearest the Pin: Steve Snook (hole 5 sponsored by EZE Group) Nearest the Pin: Adi Benson (hole 14) There was also a brand new car to be won for the first hole in one on the par 3 18th hole (sponsored by Ibex Insurance), but although a few came close.....no-one managed to win it!

Af terwards the presentation and buffet was at the Terrace Bar in Amarilla Golf, where the relevant winners received their trophies.....plus a special prize to Ged Boulton for arguably the worst trousers of the day!!
