The draw has taken place for this years John Lowe Handicap Trophy and Plate. Matches consist of 5 singles and 2 doubles

FORMAT: This competition is a scratch competition involving all teams across both Divisions. There will be 7 games played which will consist of 5 games of singles and 2 games of doubles. Each game will consist of the best of three legs. The players from each team will start each leg 501. PLATE: All first round losers this year will automatically gain entry to the plate competetition that is run alongside main competition. This competition will be played in exactly the same format as the main competition. DRAW: The draw for the John Lowe Trophy shall take place the Monday 28th July LIVE on Oasis radio at 10.30am. This draw is ‘Complete’ draw done in a knockout format (including plate competition) so that there will be no further need for any more draws Teams that played home in previous round should play away in next and vise versa. Should both teams have played at home or away in the previous round a coin toss should be done by the fixtures secretary to determine which team plays at home. Should both teams that share a venue both be drawn at home the first team out of the ‘hat’ shall retain the home draw and the second shall be given an away tie. RESULTS: Results should be reported to results secretary by both captains no later than 6pm on the Saturday following the match. FINALS: Finals for both main competition and plate competition will be played at neutral venues. COMPLETION OF MATCHES: It is requested that all matches should be played to a full so that all players involved in a team get the chance to play on the night.
