THE NEW COMPILATION ALBUM FROM FIERCE ANGEL & MARK DOYLE RELEASED NOVEMBER 23RD 2009

It’s time for a new Fierce Angel CD and this release is the best one yet! This summer Fierce Angel took over El Divino for 11 amazing nights and entertained over 15,000 clubbers. 20,000 copies of the Fierce Angel El Divino sampler were given away on the island with additional copies sold worldwide. The label is now rocking around the world from Miami to Dubai to Singapore and the radio show is going from strength to strength and is now broadcast on over 30 stations in over 20 countries. It’s been a bit of a wait for this new CD with the last album being released in July. Fierce took time out to organise new distribution and concentrate on events but the wait is over and the collection is our best album yet (we think!) The album contains a number of exclusive tracks and also witnesses the label moving into artist territory with 3 amazing tracks by the Fierce Collective.

The idea behind “The Collection” is to give you a selection of the year’s biggest Fierce favourites, that have rocked many a dance floor all over the world. Each of the tracks have been tried and tested on many a dance floor across the globe, and form the basis of the Fierce Angel sound. Massive vocals, and terrific hooks….great big hands in the air, feel good tunes! (we like to go for the goose bump factor!) So here it is “The Collection,” you’ll find this release is an unashamedly commercial selection with only the biggest anthems packed onto the CD (or digital download). It’s a decidedly disco selection on CD1 starting with Melissa Indot’s “Starlight:” followed by the Sister Sledge sampling “Take My Love.” Next up it’s the Fierce Angel Collective, this new project is a combination of all our best friends from the world of Fierce. We’ll be producing lots of tracks that will be exclusive to Fierce Angel albums. First off the blocks is a classic disco cover, “You Know How To Love Me” featuring the amazing Soraya Vivian with production duties from the Bassmonkeys. Moving on there’s new tracks from Solitaire, The Bassmonkeys plus huge club anthems from Anton Powers, Rossko and Joey Negro. Hott 22’s “Conversation” takes the pace up a bit higher and Ultravibe and Locksmiths keep the party going. We finish with a new Fierce Angel anthem “If You Could Read My Mind,.” It features unbelievable vocal from Soraya and production duties from no other than the mighty Degrees Of Motion!!!

Biog: Fierce Angel is the new record and events company from Mark Doyle the creator of Hed Kandi. Fiercely independent and already picking up critical acclaim worldwide the company is on a mission to provide simply the finest music and the most memorable nights out. Fierce Angel Records have now released 12 spectacular compilations, performed all over the UK and at some of the wildest locations around the world. Mark Doyle is the main man behind Fierce Angel Records. The compiler of the CDs, A&R for the record label & headline DJ at the events across the world! His phenomenal career all started back in 1999 when he had the idea for Hed Kandi and developed the brand as a lifestyle concept incorporating a record label, a radio show and international club nights that stimulate all the senses. During Mark’s tenure, Hed Kandi sold over five million albums worldwide and his unique A&R and marketing vision helped them deliver a string of Top 40 singles and significant artist album sales as he developed an artist roster. In addition, he developed a career as a radio DJ, creating the weekly Hed Kandi Radio Show broadcast on JAZZFM/Smooth FM and the Galaxy network in the UK and through syndications around the world. Always one to lead from the front, Mark single-handedly established the Hed Kandi brand in Ibiza in 2000 and from there he developed an international club phenomenon that knew no boundaries. He has played in Rio de Janeiro, Moscow, toured Australia and New Zealand, visited Japan and the Far East and just about every major city in Europe as well as the virtually every town with a decent club in the UK. Surely one of the most creative, energetic human beings currently walking the planet, Mark launched Fierce Angel in 2006 - his absolute vision of what a record label and events brand really should be!
