Brand new for this season, this competition looks as though it will be a great addition to the calendar. Friend of the station and the league, John Lowe, has put himself forward to support the darts league with this new exciting competition.

Mally Boo´s A hosted their neighbours Paddy O Taffs. Mally Boo´s were to much for the division two high flyer's and inflicted on them a resounding 7-0 victory. In the only tie of the evening that pitched 2 second division sides together, Yela´s Bar visited The Toscales Tornadoes. In a close game, it was The Tornadoes who eventually ran out 5-2 winners. Veronica Wanderers hosted division 2 leaders, Amigos. Veronica Wanderers played some great darts and were winners by 5 games to 2. Mr Booze and Veronica´s were involved in a great game of darts. Veronica´s opened up a 3-0 lead in the best of 7 match. Mr Booze however, dug deep and claimed the next 4 games running out 4-3 winners. The Target Bar A team visited Silencio and played The X-Men. The Target Bar produced arguably their best performance so far this season and won 6-1. The Phoenix Bar produced one of 2 shock results of the night when they hosted Bar El Sol and ran out comfortable 5-2 winners. Tenerife Sun also produced a shock result beating Frosties Bar 4-3 in a close game of darts. Swiggs Bar visited The Pig In The Dip and convincingly won 6-1.

Format This competition is a scratch competition involving all teams across both Divisions. There will be 7 games played which will consist of 5 games of singles and 2 games of doubles. Each game will consist of the best of three legs. The players from each team will start each leg 501. Draw The draw for the John Lowe Trophy shall take place the Monday before every round LIVE on Oasis radio at 10.30am on the dates given in this schedule... Results Results should be reported to Harry or Jonny by both captains no later than 6pm on the Saturday following the match. Completion Of Matches It is requested that all matches should be played to a full so that all players involved in a team get the chance to playon the night.
