As part of the 'Big Switch On' for 2006, Oasis Fm ran the Song For Christmas schools competition sponsored by EazyPc.

This was an exclusive competition for the schools in the south of Tenerife to compete with each other for the chance of winning 2 multimedia pc's for their school. All entrants sang live on Oasis Fm on Monday 20th and Tuesday 21st November 2006 during Mel Faulkners show from 11-2pm, and the live final took place at the Big Switch On at San Blas on Golf Del Sur on December 8th 2006.
